A Hengrave Hall black tie wedding. Hengrave Hall is wonderful location for a wedding, offering a blend of historic interiors mixed with stunning gardens and grounds. A wedding photographers dream wedding venue. Nestled in the Suffolk countryside, this Tudor mansion provides a breathtaking backdrop for a wedding. Stunning gardens, lined with manicured trees, it has a little church in the grounds. This is where Els and Matt got married on Friday.

In the morning, Els got ready at Hengrave Hall in a stunning Tudor bedroom. With make up by Zoe Kennedy and Katrina Kelly on hair, she looked stunning. Her dress, so classy from Freda Bennet at Morgan Davis Bridal and veil by Sassi Holford. After the ceremony guests enjoyed drinks on Hengrave’s lawn, to the sound of a saxophone. Before the wedding breakfast and speeches, everyone was treat to an amazing perfomance by The Function Band. They are so good! They also played during the wedding breakfast and performed the first dance and evening reception.

Hengrave Hall is just one of those venues I fell in love with. It is perfect for wedding photography, the grounds and interiors are both stunning. The sunsets to the side of the building which makes for the most perfect sunset photographs which every couple loves when it’s sunny. The wisteria on the building and gardens are the best backdrops for a bride and groom to have photos by, as a wedding photographer I love it all. Everything about it.
