As a child I was fascinated by cameras. I have my wonderful Grandad to thank for passing his love of photography to me and teaching me how to use an old film camera.
Throughout school I was always more interested in those ‘arty’ lessons, it was where I felt like me.
After University, I was working in a job that I didn’t really love. It wasn’t arty, it wasn’t me.
So I left and set up my wedding photography business in 2010 and I haven’t looked back. I get to say that I do something I love every single day.
I absolutely adore being part of a wedding day. When the groom sees his Bride for the first time, when Grandma is dancing to her favourite song, meeting new people and all the tiny details. I like photographs where people didn’t really realise I was there and I’ve captured a second in time.
