September weddings

September weddings are perfect. It’s not too hot and it’s not too cold and you usually (fingers crossed) get some very pretty sunshine! I know lots of couples have had to move their weddings due to Covid-19 so I wanted to do some more blogs aimed at the latter months of the year, today is September!

My Parents got married in September, so I’ve always classed it as a nice time to get married. The sun is usually shining but the heat is a lot less intense. You can also get some lovely evening sunsets and golden hour photographs at around 7pm. You could still have an outside wedding in the UK in September as the weather is so nice! Obviously it could rain, but the majority of the September weddings I have photographed in September have been lovely!

I have blogged some of my wedding photographs below from a few weddings in 2019. Hyde Barn in the Cotswolds is such a perfect venue for a wedding photographer. Louise and Rowan chose to get married inside the barn at Hyde House as they had planned flowers to fill the barn doors. The weather was perfect, we took photographs in the sunshine and under the trees, creating such a pretty light! In the evening as the sun set, we went back out for more photographs ready for the evening reception. I like September weddings because the evening reception is fully in the dark. By that I mean, there’s not bright natural light from inside, so guests want to be inside.

I hope you like these September weddings.
