Postponing weddings due to Covid-19

Postponing weddings due to Covid-19 can be a scary time. So I thought I’d write a little blog covering what I will be doing during the pandemic.
Luckily, I have managed to move most of my couples to new dates. Couples who were supposed to get married in March, April, May and June, with the odd wedding who have also moved in July and August.
I have contacted couples into July and will continue to contact people as time goes. I am keeping up with the daily press conferences, the world health organisation advice what the social distancing measures are or will be, so as this changes I will continue to make contact. (However, if you want to move before then, please let me know :))
I am totally happy to move wedding bookings, I understand everyone is suffering right now and it’s a tricky time for everyone. I am asking people to send me over a selection of postponement dates so I can make sure I am free. There will be no extra charge from me to move weddings into 2021. (Everyone supplier is different, this is just my policy so please don’t take this as what everyone is doing :))
As you can imagine, I am moving a lot of my 2020 work to 2021, I still have some new 2021 bookings too. Without knowing when this will end I could possibly be moving a whole year to a new one. I do only take a select number of weddings so it’s just a case of fitting everything in :)
If you have any questions, please let me know <3
This whole situation is horrible, it isn’t anyones fault but I feel so sad for my small business friends who feel a little lost right now. However, there will be weddings again and I can’t wait!
Stay safe. Stay home. KP x
