Halfpenny bride at Casa Sacoto, Lisbon. – There’s always something special about photographing a destination wedding and Chloe and Oliver’s was no exception. Having met Chloe at her friends wedding in Ostuni – Italy, when she emailed me to ask if I could photograph her wedding in Portugal to Oliver. Located 40 minutes from Lisbon, Casa Sacoto is a beautiful restored estate in the Portuguese countryside. Surrounded by olive groves and rolling landscapes, it’s the perfect venue for a wedding.
Chloe wore a STUNNING dress from Halfpenny in London, she looked absolutely beautiful. Their ceremony took place outside surrounded by lush greenery and huge trees. After the ceremony, guests had cocktail hour around a beautiful blue swimming pool, which a saxophonist played. We took photographs in Casa Sacoto, the white walls and vineyard made the most amazing backdrop. Guests ate beautiful Portuguese food in an alfresco wedding breakfast, surrounded by gorgeous rolling hills.
