Laura and Jamie – ST MARY’S GUILDHALL

Laura and Jamie got married at the beautiful St. Mary’s Guildhall which is right next to Coventry Cathedral. In the morning, Laura got ready at home with her bridesmaids and my talented friend Amy Louise was on hair and make up! She’s so good!

Once ready we left for the venue which had been beautifully decorated by Finishing Touches. The ceremony began and then we took photographs in the beautiful surroundings! The Specials had played a gig in the Cathedral ruins the night before, so all of their equipment was being taken down.. which changed our plans of using it as a backdrop! But luckily we were able to get in there in the evening and take some photographs!

The streets around St. Mary’s Guildhall are great for wedding photographs. There’s lots of lovely old buildings and cobbled streets. We also found some pretty doorways and the new Cathedral had some amazing walls too!

After we had taken lots of photographs we went inside for the wedding breakfast and speeches. Then returned to the Cathedral ruins for more photographs before the first dance began.
