French Riviera

In June, I spent 8 days in the French Riviera. I just adore this place, it’s such a stunning place to visit. We stayed in Antibes, rented a car and visited some places along the coast. Having a car rental in France is great, as you can visit so many places! Here are some of my must-dos!

NICE.

I love Nice. It’s just got a great feel to it. Walking along the Promenade des Anglais in the sun is the best way to spend time here. I would recommend going to La Cucina, an amazing italian restaurant in Nice. It’s a small place, with amazing food. You won’t regret it!

VILLA EPHRUSSI DE ROTHSCHILD

A stunning villa on the Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. A pink house, amazing gardens and the best cakes ever. I would definitely recommend going here if you’re visiting the South Of France!

JUAN LES PINS

Juan Les Pins has a gorgeous beach lined with palm trees. It also has great beach bars where you can rent a sun bed and watch the world go by. I like it here as it seemed a little less (not that much) busy that some of the other beaches.

CANNES

I like Cannes. It feels expensive. Probably a bit too expensive for me, but maybe that’s why I like it! It has a beach, designer shops, posh hotels (one day) and it looks good. It’s also fun to walk the red carpet at Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. However, we did visit when there was a social media/Cannes Lions festival, which meant we couldn’t get in anywhere…

ANTIBES

Antibes has a lovely French feel. Lots of choice for restaurants, shops and a marina. It is also home to the Picasso museum, which if you like art is great to visit.

GRASSE

Grasse is the home of perfume. A cute little place where I would you say, you could spend half a day in. It has a perfume museum which I really enjoyed. I loved looking at all the old bottles and how it’s changed over the years – also how it’s made!

Here are a few photographs from my trip to Cote D’Azur! I’m sure I will be back one day.. It’s just too amazing not to have multiple visits!
