Victoria and Matthew got married in beautiful Florence, Tuscany at Villa Di Masseto. I spent a few days in Florence before the wedding, and it rained on and off the whole time! The morning of the wedding was very misty, but then in the afternoon the sunshine came out! I was so happy for Victoria as she had really wanted to have their wedding breakfast outside.
Victoria and Matthew had rented Villa Di Masseto for the whole week. So they both got ready at the villa. Victoria’s cousin Jessica Fretwell did her make up and Ashleigh Curtis was on hair. Victoria wore a beautiful Essense of Australia from Dress Me Pretty and her Mum made the bouquets!
Once ready, we left for the town hall in Pontassieve where the ceremony was held. It was such a lovely building and the inside had peachy pink walls! After the ceremony we took a few photographs in Pontassieve before heading back to the villa.
The villa was such a stunning location, surrounded by the Tuscan Hills, it was perfect for photographs. We took photographs in the sunshine then everyone sat down for their meal in the most beautiful outdoor seating area.
I loved the laid back feel that this wedding had, I guess that’s a perk of having a destination wedding! It was a pleasure to photograph your wonderful day and explore Florence some more.
