Some of my favourite spots in Paris

Watching the world go by in the Jardin Du Luxembourg

This park is my most favourite park in Paris. A short work from my favourite arrondissement (6 – Saint-Germain-des-Prés), it’s a gorgeous place to walk about in the summer or winter. I love all the typically Parisian green chairs where you can watch the world go by. One of my most happiest memories is popping to a supermarket in Paris, then sitting in this park in the summer, eating camembert and bread and chatting with my friend Frances.

Beef Bourguignon at Le Bistrot D’Henri

A little find in Saint Germain. Down a tiny little street, not far from Chez Georges is Le Bistrot D’Henri. You feel like you’ve gone back in time in this tiny restaurant, the perfect old France setting. The beef bourguignon here is amazing, you feel like you could spend hours in here. Drinking wine and eating traditional French food – perfect!

Eclairs at Cafe De Flore

All of my favourites seem to be in Saint Germain… The eclairs here are amazing. Get an outside table and watch the world go by whilst eating one!

Dinner at Le Hibou

I like the feel of this place. It’s dark, candlelit, cosy and always packed. The food here is good, I had pasta. But the setting is lovely!

Drinks at the Prescription Cocktail Club

23 Rue Mazarine, you could walk past it. There is no sign giving it a ‘speakeasy’ feel, this cocktail bar is perfect for an evening drink. The cocktail list isn’t massively long, but it’s such a cute bar and the drinks are nice! Plus everyone who works there is very friendly!

Wander along Avenue Montaigne

If you’re a fan of designer shops and Sex and the City, this street is for you. Home to the Plaza Athénée (where Carrie stays) this beautiful street is perfect to window shop. At Christmas you can see all of the designer shop windows and when you get to the end, you’re either at the Champs Élysées or looking at the Eiffel Tower!

Looking at the Eiffel Tower at night from Pont Alexandre III

I love this bridge. It is stunning. So it’s no surprise that whilst you’re here you will see photoshoots taking place. This location is a great spot to watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night – beautiful!

Monmartre

I love this area. The pretty little streets straight from Amelie. Near to Pigalle, home to the Moulin Rouge. It’s a very tradition Parisian area that I absolutely love. Whether you’re sitting and watching the world go by in a cafe eating a crepe or wandering around the painters in the square, it’s a perfect Parisian spot!
