What jewellery should a bride wear on her wedding day?
I’m all about being yourself on your wedding day. I know you don’t wear a wedding dress or carry a bouquet in everyday life (maybe you do) but I think there are elements of your wedding day where you should be you.
From your hair to your jewellery, I say you should do you and not what a ‘typical bride’ wears.
For example, if I got married I’d be rocking hoops and gold jewellery proudly.
However, here are a few points to consider when buying jewellery;
1. Will you wear it again? I’m all about investing in pieces for your wedding that you will wear again. If you buy jewellery and shoes that you will wear again then it’s win win right? :)
2. Dress colour. Make sure the colour of your jewellery matches the colour of your dress.
3. Dress style/neckline. Again, make sure the jewellery matches the dress style. For example a statement necklace looks great with a strapless dress.
