My first destination wedding was in the beautiful South of France! As you may know, I have a love for France, so I was so honoured to be asked to photograph Aitzi and Pierre’s wedding at Château Saint Julien d’Aille. Aitzi is Spanish and Pierre is French, so it was great to see different traditions!
It was gorgeous!
In the morning, Aitzi got ready at the venue with Leslie Azur on hair and Blandine Fabre on make up.
The outdoor ceremony began at 5pm, it was such a beautiful location among the trees. Lady’s Orchestra played whilst the parents, bridesmaids, ushers, Pierre and Aitzi walked down the aisle. The ceremony had such a sweet personal feel to it, which I loved. I liked the little traditions, like the guests warming the rings with love.
After the ceremony, we took photographs in the stunning grounds. The light was absolutely amazing.
When the sun went down, Aitzi threw her bouquet and the wedding breakfast began (with a great entrance from the Bride and Groom!). They has a sparkler entrance to start the first dance and the evening reception began where the guests didn’t stop dancing. It was great!
