Last week I celebrated turning 30 in none other than my favourite city – Paris! I have such a love for French culture. The way of life, food, fashion, museums.. I could go on, I just adore it! On this trip I travelled on the Eurostar. I am not a huge fan of flying so thought I’d give the Eurostar a try. It is ace! Much better than flying!
I stayed in the Saint Germain area which I really liked, it was fairly close to everything. The thing I love most is just walking around the city, that’s where you stumble upon cute little places. Obviously, there were some planned walks, like the Jardin du Luxembourg. These gardens are so beautiful to wander around, I would love to visit in Spring time!
I thought I would do a few blogs with photographs from my trip.. so that it wasn’t just a huge list of photographs. I hope you enjoy them!
La place Dauphine is a gorgeous square on the Île de la Cité. Although I didn’t see anyone, I heard that people play petanque there on nice days – how French! It’s a quiet little place with small cafes.. Also close to Sainte Chapelle – which is a must! La place Dauphin is also the location where Carrie Bradshaw and Alexandra Petroski walk in the episodes of Sex and the City in Paris (sad I know!).
