When Roisin first emailed me, she told me that she was planning a Great Gatsby style wedding. With The Great Gatsby being one of my favourite films, I knew this wedding would be fabulous! And boy did it live up to my expectations!
Roisin got ready at home alongside her bridesmaids. I was greeted by the most gorgeous brooch bouquet and an even more gorgeous dusky pale pink ball gown dress which went perfectly with the theme. Roisin’s bridesmaids wore beautiful Dessy dresses from Bea’s Bridal.
Roisin and Kyle got married at Sacred Heart Church in a beautiful ceremony. A string quartet played ‘Lana Del Rey – Will you still love me when I’m not longer young and beautiful’ whilst they signed the register. A great link to the Gatsby film.
After the ceremony the guests left for Dallas Burston Polo Club. It was my first time at the Polo Club, but WOW. This place is amazing. I felt like I was in the Hamptons, it looked like Gatsby’s summerhouse.. it was like awesome.
The staff from the Polo Club bought round a horse for Roisin and Kyle to have their photograph with and then we used the clubhouse as a background for the rest of the photographs.
Inside, the clubhouse was just as fabulous. There was an absolutely AMAZING Choccywoccydoodah cake. It fit the theme perfectly.
Thank you for picking me to photograph your amazing day.
