Davina and Chris had found my work through ‘Before the Big Day’ wedding blog and gave me a call.
After chatting to Davina for a bit I found out she lived and was getting married in London. I was a
little bit very excited at the fact that she wanted me to photograph her wedding.. in London! This would be a massive dream and my first wedding there. Then the story got better…
Davina had met her now fiancé, Chris in New York, where he lived. All his family and friends would be coming over to London for the wedding. It was like a love story from a film!
When Chris was over on a visit to the UK we all met up, they booked me and the rest is history!
So, in June I travelled to London. Eeek! Not going to lie, I felt a little nervous.
I arrived at Davina’s Mum’s house (wow). From the second I walked into her home, until the moment I left the hotel at night I heard music, it was fab!
The Church service was amazing, full of music and singing, accompanied by a live band.
After the service we headed to Regent’s park for photographs, it began to rain a little bit, but that never once stopped anyone having fun!
Then.. the wedding party and I all got into a canal boat and travelled along to Camden Lock! (AMAZING) Music blasted from the boat and everyone was having the best time!
When we got to the hotel, Davina and Chris’ parents, ushers, bridesmaids and Davina and Chris all danced into the venue. It was ace!
I can’t explain how much I loved photographing this wedding, it was so much fun!
Thank you SO much for picking me to photograph your day with your friends and family.
And when I come to New York.. I will visit! Haha :)
