The night before Steph and Nathan’s wedding resembled the scene in the Wizard of Oz when Dorothy’s house gets blown away. It was windy, very windy.
In the morning however it brightened up. I checked Metcheck a few times, which said there would be occasional spells of rain… But.. we missed it all (go us!).
Steph got ready at home with her parents and bridesmaids. Everyone seemed so calm as they did hair and make up whilst listening to swing music. When the time came to leave for Brownsover, Steph’s Dad was overcome with emotion as he saw his daughter for the first time in her dress.
Steph and Nathan’s friend conducted their ceremony which gave it such a personal feel.. then it was outside to brave the cold for photographs!
It was a little chilly but neither complained. Nathan should work for Next (this guy knows how to pose!) and even though Steph was without any jacket for warmth, you couldn’t tell.
It was a pleasure to work with you and your families who travelled far and wide to be there.
Thank you for choosing me to photograph your special day!
