Wedding review 2012.
Hello! I decided to do a review of 2012 and show a few of my favourite photographs from the past year. A massive thank you to everyone who follows me on Twitter, likes me on Facebook or reads my blog. Thanks for all the comments, likes and retweets… Without sounding MEGA cheesy, it makes me smile. If you do, you’ve probably seen half of these photographs and heard the stories that go with them.. It’s just a little something to tie the year up! I have one more Wedding this year, then it’s 2013! So if you do follow me on social media, be prepared! Haha! Thanks again for all of your support, have a fabulous Christmas, Kayleigh xx
The first Wedding I photographed in 2012 was my younger cousin Katie and her now husband, Gavin. He proposed after returning from Afghanistan! Cute!
Me and my beautiful cousins.^
Next up! This isn’t exactly a Wedding I photographed… but I sort of did! My friend Holly rang me up to ask if I would be free the following Wednesday.. I was. She got married, Holly, Ross, Brooke and 2 witnesses. We went out for cake after, it was very lovely!
I assisted Ruth Goalby for my next Wedding. The Wedding had a Bettlejuice/Breakfast at Tiffany’s theme. It was ace. (Had to have a shoe photo)
Melanie and Robert, they got married at Nuneaton registry office. I love how happy this photograph is.
Next Wedding I shot, took me to Oxford! Keely and James got married in the beautiful Holt Hotel. One of the hottest Wedding days I’ve ever photographed.
The next Wedding was of one of my oldest friends. Claire and Tim. I travelled to Preston to shoot this amazing Wedding, they got married in the most beautiful Church and then had their reception in an amazing marquee! Claire got me a teapot and flying saucers as a ‘Thank You’. Know me so well! Haha.
Next Wedding I shot, I didn’t know I would photograph until about an hour before. Rachel and William’s photographer didn’t show up, my friend Charlotte who worked at Heart of England rang me to see if I was free. It rained, but we got some great photographs.
Roz and William, got married at the Windmill Village hotel. Beautiful small wedding, loved the bridesmaid dresses.
I love this next Wedding, because the second I walked into Ria’s house I saw peonies in the bouquet. Ria and Craig got married at the amazing Warwick House in Southam. It is such a beautiful venue.
Next Wedding was shot in one hour! Tracey wasn’t a fan of being photographed, but we still got some lovely photographs!
My lovely friend Kelly got married, so I did a few bridal preparation photographs for her. Here’s my favourite!
Next wedding was Louise and Ian. Louise is so supportive of me on Facebook, thank you Louise! Here’s my favourite of their day.
Next Wedding took me to Birmingham, for Chris and Heather’s Wedding at the Old Rose and Crown. Chris had been an Olympic volunteer so we did a few Olympic themed poses!
Nicky and Danny’s Wedding was the first Wedding I shot with my new camera (Still hate you Yodel). I hope all your guests understand why I was hanging your shoes on the gate. Beautiful day, even more beautiful-er cupcakes!
Next Wedding was Sharon and Albert’s at the gorgeous Brandon Hall Hotel. It was a little cold, but we still got some beautiful shots.
Gemma and Dean had a beautiful Christmas themed Wedding at Nailcote Hall. My favourite thing about this Wedding was that Gemma wore her slippers down the isle!
Last but one Wedding was Hannah and Andrew’s Wedding in Reading. I loved the wintery theme and the gorgeous Bridesmaid dresses.
Have one more Wedding then onto 2013! Thanks for reading!
Happy Christmas x
